A proven, effective problem solver and public servant

I know the difference between right and wrong. You can’t say the same about some of our lawmakers.
Our State Senator should support programs that lift our communities up, like public education, quality infrastructure, and access to affordable healthcare.

Central Arkansas families deserve a transparent government that works for our communities, instead of representation that stands in the way of a bright future.

Right now, lawmakers in Little Rock are stripping Arkansas of our constitutional freedoms, including our healthcare and right-to-know how they spend our tax dollars. We need community-focused public servants, not self-serving career politicians. 2024 is our chance to build a better Arkansas.

Every day, I meet with Arkansas families from Faulkner and Pulaski Counties. I know the issues families across our state face, and I want to be their voice in the State Senate.

I am a mental health professional and a small-business owner. I run my own counseling business in Conway, serving families as a licensed Psychological Examiner. Because of my work, I understand the importance of listening. What I hear from folks in my community is undeniable: Central Arkansas families are hurting, and times are tough. The uncertainty and the division caused by the officials running our state government is causing real harm in our communities. I hear the fears of folks across District 17 every day in my practice.

I see parents struggle to navigate financial stressors while also trying to be good parents to their kids. I see couples struggle to make ends meet while working toward their dreams. I see a complete disconnect between supposed leadership and the people affected.

I’ve considered quitting or avoiding “politics”; I even tried. I deactivated social media and attempted to focus my time and energy elsewhere. Not because I didn’t care, but because it seemed so hopeless, watching the people in power run roughshod over the people they claim to serve. It seems worse now than ever.

I ran for Senate in 2018 against Jason Rapert. Since that election, the lawmakers in Little Rock haven’t moderated. Instead, they have become more extreme, bullying our families and kids with their hateful agenda.

I make a point to empathize with every person I meet. I try to see things from their point of view, rather than arguing or pushing an agenda. Our public servants should do the same. I grew up in Fox, Arkansas  – a small, unincorporated town in Stone County. Our community relied on trust. It’s a value I made sure to teach my daughter, who’s now a freshman at UCA.

As your Senator, I will work for our families in Central Arkansas. You can count on me to protect our families, grow our economy, and fight corruption in our government.

This will be the closest State Senate race in 2024.

It’s clear we can win this district – we just need support to get our positive and popular message in front of more Central Arkansas voters.

Can we count on your support?

I'm proud to say that the vast majority of our campaign expenditures will support local printers, restaurants, and venues- striving to be of benefit to our entire community.

Enough is enough. Our legislature isn’t serving our workers, our students, our seniors, or our families.

Arkansas needs leaders who serve the people that elect them, not special interest groups. We need public servants who listen and solve problems, who work with people from all backgrounds for a brighter Arkansas.

The US versus THEM mentality does NOT WORK. A representative must represent everyone, not just those who agree with them.

Injustice and inequality are being pushed into law by a group of career politicians, who won’t listen to anyone but lobbyists and special interests. They are actively hurting Arkansas: stripping newborns of healthcare, defunding public schools, policing classrooms, and restricting access to life-saving care.

We need a new Senator. I’m asking for your support in this election. Together, we can build the brighter future we all deserve.

We deserve better than this, and we can elect better leaders than this.

Freedom, equity, justice, and equal opportunity

A good friend of mine has always said: “Do something nice for someone else, and two people feel better. If our lawmakers had that motto, we all would be better off.”

Here's why I'm running:

For your access to elected officials and the legislative process.

For your access to education and our public schools.

For your access to high-quality medical care and necessary resources.

For your access to good-paying jobs and a living wage.

National politics is overbearing and overwhelming. But locally, you really can make a huge difference.

Together, we can change the face of leadership. When we build a brighter Arkansas, our leadership will reflect the wonderful diversity of Arkansas. There is no wrong time to start, and our campaign could use your support. Even if it is just a few hours a month.
